GL Glow Labskin clinic

Home/Our Doctors

The clinic

Doctors, nurses, and nobody on commission.

Eleven people work at Glow Lab. Seven of them can treat you, and every one of those seven is registered, individually insured and paid a salary that does not move when you buy something.

Dr Amelia Choi

Medical Director · Dermatology

Dr Amelia Choi

Fifteen years in NHS dermatology, the last six as a consultant, before founding Glow Lab in 2012. She writes every pigment and acne protocol the clinic runs, and still holds a Thursday list she refuses to give up.

She is the person who decided that nobody here would earn commission, on the grounds that she had spent a decade cleaning up what commission produces.

  • MBBS, MRCP (Dermatology), GMC 6142891
  • Lead author on two papers on melasma recurrence
  • Treats: pigmentation, acne, medical dermatology
  • Consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Dr Samuel Reeve

Aesthetic Physician

Dr Samuel Reeve

Trains other injectors nationally and is known internally as the one who says no the most often. His conservative dosing protocol is now used by four other clinics in the city, which he finds quietly satisfying.

If you arrive asking for a specific product by name, he will ask you what you are actually trying to change, and the conversation usually ends somewhere else.

  • MBChB, MSc Aesthetic Medicine, GMC 7203344
  • Faculty on two national injectable training programmes
  • Treats: injectables, biostimulants, ageing
  • Consults Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Farah Idris, Registered Nurse

Lead Aesthetic Nurse

Farah Idris, RN

Laser and energy-device specialist with a particular focus on Fitzpatrick IV to VI, where most clinics either refuse to treat or treat badly. She rewrote our entire laser settings library in her first year.

She also runs the patch-testing clinic on Friday mornings, which is unglamorous, unbillable and the reason we have never had a laser burn.

  • RN, NMC 74B1122E, Independent Prescriber
  • Core of Knowledge certified, Level 4 laser
  • Treats: all laser, RF microneedling, toning
  • Clinics Monday to Friday
Nadia Okonjo, Aesthetician

Senior Aesthetician

Nadia Okonjo

Runs the facial and peel side of every programme, which means most patients see more of her than of their doctor. Eleven years in clinical skincare, four of them in a burns unit.

She is the one who will tell you, gently, that the eleven products in your bathroom are the problem.

  • Level 4 Advanced Skincare, CIDESCO
  • Specialist in barrier repair and reactive skin
  • Treats: peels, facials, dermaplaning, microneedling
  • Clinics Tuesday to Saturday
Dr Marcus Bell

Associate Physician

Dr Marcus Bell

Joined from emergency medicine in 2021 and brought the crash trolley protocol with him. Splits his week between the resurfacing list and the complications clinic, where he sees other clinics' work as often as our own.

Every Glow Lab patient has his direct line for seventy-two hours after any energy-device treatment.

  • MBBS, MCEM, GMC 7411208
  • Runs our adverse-events review, quarterly and published internally
  • Treats: fractional resurfacing, complications, urgent reviews
  • Consults Wednesday, Friday
Priya Raman, Patient Coordinator

Head of Patient Care

Priya Raman

Not a clinician, and the person you will actually speak to most. She books every consultation, chases every follow-up photograph, and is the reason our twelve-week review attendance sits above ninety percent.

She has authority to refund anything under $500 without asking a doctor, which she uses about twice a month.

  • Nine years in clinic operations
  • Answers the phone from 8:30, before the clinic opens
  • Handles finance applications and rescheduling
How we work

Four rules that shape every appointment.

Nobody earns commission

Not the doctors, not the nurses, not the front desk. Retail and treatment revenue changes nobody's pay here, which is why one consult in six ends in a smaller plan than the patient expected.

📷

Photographs before opinions

Every plan starts with imaging and every review is measured against it. If we cannot show you the change, we do not claim it.

🩺

A doctor sees you first

Aestheticians deliver a great deal of the treatment, but the diagnosis and the plan are always signed by a physician.

📄

The plan is yours to take

Written, printed, and yours whether or not you book with us. Several patients a month take it elsewhere, and that is entirely fine.

Working here

We are usually hiring one person.

We grow slowly on purpose. When we do recruit, it is a salaried role with no commission structure, a training budget that gets spent, and a rota that does not run past seven in the evening.

We are currently looking for an aesthetic nurse with laser experience, ideally someone who has worked with darker skin types and is tired of being the only person in the building who cares about patch testing.

Get in Touch

Meet whichever of them fits your skin.

Tell us your main concern and Priya will book you with the right practitioner, not the first free slot.
